All in my head

To know me is to love me.

Birthday trip photos

Observation: I take too many photos from the plane. Photos from planes are mostly boring. And blue. Very, very blue.

Then again, flights are pretty boring, and there isn’t much to do apart from looking out the window. I’m mostly shocked I wasn’t told off for not turning off my camera until well after the turn off all electronics now or the plane will surely crash and burn point.

Having safely arrived in England, we went on to have a late lunch with the following charming young gentleman, as well as exchange christmas/birthday gifts.

Friday was shopping day and nothing much worth taking a picture of happened, except this little kitty spying on me in the morning. I could theoretically have met up with Chris this day, but timing was not in our favour, so no wacky antics to tell about. Sadface.

Saturday we had considered spending in Wells, but decided on Stourhead Garden instead. We’ll have to come back here in summer for comparison photos.

Sunday was birthday tiem!!, but I did grab a few landscape photos before the drinking began.

See more sunday photos, including a recipe for a drink that looks oh-so-innocent.

Monday we went to the roman baths in Bath. They say you should put aside 1.5-2 hours for the full tour, and that may be enough if you’re not as photo happy as the two of us. We had paid for two hours of parking before heading to the baths, and figured that would be enough—we were a little over half-way through when we realised we only had half an hour of parking left. Ah well.

See more monday photos.
